WDVR Seeks Events Coordinator Volunteer!

WDVR, your local community radio station, is seeking a dedicated volunteer to join our team! We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to help us spread the word about happenings in our area.
Responsibilities:
Research and discover upcoming community events, activities, and initiatives.
Craft concise and engaging announcements suitable for radio broadcast.
Ensure accuracy and clarity in all information presented.
Submit completed copy to the station webmaster for website publication.
Work collaboratively with the WDVR team to promote local events.
Qualifications:
Strong interest in community events and a desire to support local initiatives.
Excellent written and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Detail-oriented and organized.
Familiarity with basic online research tools.
